As an experienced professional in social services and education, my main objective is to create a meaningful impact in people's lives. Placing the user at the centre of what I do, creating well designed products and writing clean and accessible code matters to me. I like to focus on the details and try, try and try again until I am happy with my work.

In my down time, you can find me veganizing recipes while listening to psychology podcasts, cyclo-touring around Quebec, and learning to play the piano.

Sean's Legacy Project

Development - Client

Sean's Legacy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting LGBTQIA+ youth. They came to TechFleet with a project proposal for a professional mentoring platform where LGBTQIA+ mentees can match with LGBTQIA+ mentors.

I led a team of developers during the first 3-month phase of this project where we established our tech stack, built a registration and login flow, coded responsive and pixel perfect designs, and consulted with the product team and client on feature feasibility.

Development - Client

Collaborated within a cross-functional team to create a website redesign for Beela, a Swedish nonprofit organization that supports women and non-binary immigrants to Sweden break into tech.

I was responsible for transitioning HTML and CSS code into reusable components using Next.js and SCSS, and communicating with the client on behalf of the development team.

Design & Development - Personal

A MERN stack web app built from scratch, where users are able to get information on movies, genres and directors. After creating an account, users can edit their profile as well as create and edit a list of their favourite movies. This front-end project works with the myFlix API - also built by yours truly.
